Cancer Walk
The 2025 Annual Cancer Walk is on Saturday, May 3rd at 9 a.m.
First established in 2018, the HRRMC Cancer Walk brings community members together, through their shared experiences with cancer. The proceeds will go towards supporting HRRMC cancer patients.
On May 3rd, day-of registration will open at 8 a.m. and the walk will begin at 9 a.m., outside of the Outpatient Pavilion on HRRMC’s main campus at 1000 Rush Drive in Salida.
Cancer Walk Bake Sale
The bake sale will be held on Wed., April 2 in the HRRMC Café from 7:30 a.m. - sold out. Proceeds will go directly to all funds raised through the Cancer Walk for local oncology patients.
Come and checkout the 2025 Cancer Walk Bake Sale hosted by the HRRMC Accounting Department. If you would like to donate baked goods, please coordinate with Karen Moore at (719) 530-8221 or karen.moore@hrrmc.net.
Participant Registration/Donations
Registration is $35 per person and free for cancer survivors.
For those who cannot attend the in-person event, or wish to walk independently, they may do so anytime leading up to the community event on May 3rd. Or you can register and donate your registration to a Cancer Survivor. Cancer Survivors walk for FREE but please still register.
This year's event registration on Saturday, May 3rd will begin at 8AM, Welcome at 8:30AM and the walk commencing at 9:00AM.
Expo
New in 2025, we will be hosting a Cancer Walk Expo with tables to provide the walkers with information about products and services:
- Hydration table by High Country Bank
- Free coffee and Chai by Coffee by Topo
- Breakfast burritos for sale by Xi Epsilon Delta, all proceeds donated
- Bananas, samples and health information from Natural Grocers
