Health education classes for community members
Heart of the Rockies Regional Medical Center offers a variety of health education classes through Wellness U for community members to learn how to prevent and manage health conditions. These courses provide valuable assistance to people who are struggling to adjust to a new lifestyle. A course calendar and class registration is available here.

- Diabetes Self-Management Education
- Healthy eating
- Preventing heart attack and stroke
- Living with pulmonary disease
- Asthma management
- Smoking cessation
- Parkinson's Wellness Recovery
- Tai Chi: Moving for Better Balance
- Fall Prevention
Costs vary from class to class and typically are not covered by insurance. However, cardiac and pulmonary rehab are generally covered by insurance.
