Our highly specialized orthopedics team offers a comprehensive approach to fit your needs. Our orthopedic surgeon/generalist Dr. Ramon Perez focuses on joints, tendons and muscles of the knee, shoulder and hip, Dr. Rita Baumgartner specializes in injuries of the hand, wrist and elbow, and orthopedic surgeon Dr. Steven Jones specializes in joint replacements of the knee and hip.

Beyond seeing our surgeons for your injuries, our team of orthopedic physician assistants Karli Jacobsen and Beth Pack, certified athletic trainers, rehabilitation therapists, imaging specialists and your primary care provider all work together to provide the most complete and detailed process from start to finish to enable you to return to daily life while retaining as much of your pre-op strength, mobility and range motion as possible.

Our rehabilitation team comprised of physical, occupational and speech therapists will guide you through your journey, regardless of surgical intervention. Rehabilitation is available 5 days a week. All of these treatments and services are under one roof at our clinic.

The orthopedic team

Board-certified, fellowship-trained Dr. Ramon Perez, D.O., is the medical director for the HRRMC Orthopedic Program, overseeing both our Sports Medicine and Joint Replacement programs.

Dr. Steven Jones, D.O., is a fellowship-trained, board-certified orthopedic surgeon who specializes in joint replacements.

Additionally, our doctors receive invaluable support from our trained physician assistants and certified athletic trainers.
