Hospitalist Program

Providing care for hospitalized patients

Heart of the Rockies Regional Medical Center’s hospitalists are primarily internal medicine physicians.

Hospitalists specialize in the acute care of adult patients admitted to the hospital who do not have a local primary care provider or whose local primary care provider requests that the hospitalist follow their patient while hospitalized.

Our hospitalists are also available for consults requested by local primary care physicians who choose to continue to see their patients in the hospital.
