Since the breast is composed of soft tissue that varies greatly from individual to individual, a variety of diagnostic tools are used at HRRMC to improve early detection:
- Tomosynthesis (also known as 3-D digital mammography)
- Breast Ultrasound
- Stereotactic Breast Biopsy
- Breast MRI
- Breast Ultrasound-guided Biopsies
To make an appointment for a mammogram (with a doctor's order), call (719) 530-2318. HRRMC offers both 2-D and 3-D digital mammography. We recommend that you contact your insurance company to determine if they cover 3-D mammography. Click here to learn more about mammography at HRRMC.
