HRRMC Foundation to host annual Cancer Walk on Saturday, May 3
SALIDA, Colo.—Heart of the Rockies Regional Medical Center (HRRMC) Foundation is delighted to announce its annual Cancer Walk, taking place on Saturday, May 3 at 9 a.m. on HRRMC’s main campus, 1000 Rush Drive in Salida.
First established in 2018, the Cancer Walk brings community members together through their shared experiences with cancer – whether survivors, directly affected family members, friends or community members – to walk together to benefit local oncology patients.
The HRRMC Foundation is now seeking business sponsorships for the event. Sponsorship levels range from $100-$1,000, with high visibility opportunities for businesses to participate in a variety of ways. Funds raised through sponsorships and registrations will support local HRRMC cancer patients with items during their treatments, including wigs, lymphedema sleeves and wellness programs. The deadline to become a sponsor is Friday, March 7.
The HRRMC Foundation Cancer Walk will also be hosting a Bake Sale on Wednesday, April 2 at 7:30 a.m. in the Café conference room on HRRMC’s main campus. At this time, registration for the event will open.
