HRRMC Outpatient Pharmacy to host two community vaccine clinics in October
SALIDA, Colo.—Heart of the Rockies Regional Medical Center’s (HRRMC) Outpatient Pharmacy is hosting two influenza and COVID-19 vaccination clinics for the community during the month of October.
The pharmacy team will be offering these vaccinations on Friday, Oct. 11 and Friday, Oct. 25 between 9 a.m. – 1 p.m., on HRRMC’s main campus at 1000 Rush Drive in Salida. The clinic will be located in the Harvard-Antero conference rooms on the second floor of the hospital.
No appointments are necessary and walk-ins are encouraged. Vaccinations are available to all community members, ages seven and above. Please note that Medicaid patients under the age of 18 are not covered through pharmacy benefits and will be charged out-of-pocket costs.
Please bring your medical insurance card with you, as insurance will be billed. Cash, checks or credit cards will be accepted for out-of-pocket payers.
Vaccination forms are available at hrrmc.com/pharmacy. Please fill these forms out and bring them with you prior to arrival.
If community members are unable to attend either of these vaccination clinics, the HRRMC Salida Health Center is offering influenza clinics to the community on the following dates:
- Thursday, Oct. 10 between 8 a.m. – 4 p.m.;
- Tuesday, Oct. 22 between 8 a.m. – 4 p.m.;
- Wednesday, Oct. 23 between 8 a.m. – 4 p.m.; and,
- Wednesday, Oct. 30 between 8 a.m. – 4 p.m.
All rules above apply to these clinics as with the Outpatient Pharmacy clinics.
