FAIRPLAY, Colo.—Board-certified physician Gregory Ambuske, D.O., has joined the medical staff at Heart of the Rockies Regional Medical Center (HRRMC), seeing patients at HRRMC South Park Health Care, located at 525 Hathaway Street in Fairplay.
Dr. Ambuske sees adult patients for primary care needs, focusing on preventative medicine to help patients live healthy, daily lives. He also likes to be sees patients for hypertension, diabetes and heart-related issues.
“Working and living in a mountainous, rural area can make accessing high-quality healthcare a challenge,” said HRRMC CEO Bob Morasko. “We appreciate that Dr. Ambuske – a medical provider with extensive experience – has joined our staff to support our community members in Fairplay and beyond to have those valuable medical resources available to them on a regular basis.”
Dr. Ambuske received his medical degree from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed his internship and residency at University of Pittsburgh Medical Center Mercy in Pittsburgh, PA. Dr. Ambuske is board-certified in Internal Medicine and has previously worked in inpatient, outpatient and urgent care environments. In addition to his medical degree, Dr. Ambuske holds a bachelor’s degree in pharmacy, giving him an area of focus for more personalized care with treatments that may require medication.
In his spare time, Dr. Ambuske enjoys skiing, hunting, fishing and running.
