SALIDA, Colo. – Heart of the Rockies Regional Medical Center (HRRMC) will expand its 70 and older COVID-19 community vaccination clinic on Friday, Feb. 5, to now include members of the community aged 65 and older.
The clinic will take place from 9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. and will be located at the Chaffee County Fairgrounds, 10165 County Road 120 in Salida. Registration is required. An online scheduler is available for eligible community members to schedule an appointment at https://hrrmcvaccines.rsvpify.com/.
This vaccination clinic now includes community members in the Phase 1B.2 category set forth by the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE) to minimize dose wastage and maximize operational efficiency.
HRRMC emphasizes that community members sign up for a specific time slot utilizing the online scheduler at https://hrrmcvaccines.rsvpify.com/.
Consent forms are required for vaccinations, and can be found on the online scheduler, as well as on HRRMC’s COVID-19 website: https://www.hrrmc.com/covid-19-updates/covid-19-vaccine/. For those who cannot print forms, these will be available at the main entrance of the hospital and all HRRMC clinics prior to Friday. HRRMC asks that anyone who signs up please come prepared with this paperwork completed to ensure vehicle traffic is minimized.
Vaccinations will take place completely within each person’s vehicle. Vehicles will enter through the main entrance of the Chaffee County Fairgrounds, and immediately be met at a checkpoint with further instructions.
