Heart of the Rockies Regional Medical Center Clinics Manager Linda Epp (L) and Clinics Nurse Manager Lori Rucker (R) donate three automated external defibrillators (AEDs) to Chaffee County Search and Rescue on June 27. An AED is used to help someone experiencing sudden cardiac arrest. Epp said HRRMC decided to standardize all the defibrillators in the hospital and clinics and wanted to donate the former devices. Chaffee County Search and Rescue - South President Evan Brady (center) said they plan to install one on each of their primary response vehicles.
