Heart of the Rockies Regional Medical Center is offering a four-week diabetes education program. This program is designed for people who have been diagnosed with diabetes. Classes will be held in the hospital's second-floor conference rooms, 1000 Rush Dr., Salida.
Topics include healthy eating habits, controlling blood sugar, and medications.
Classes for the August program are every Monday from 12-1:30 p.m. Classes for the September program are every Thursday from 5-6:30 p.m. There is no fee to attend.
