Heart of the Rockies Regional Medical Center's Buena Vista Health Center (BVHC), 28374 County Road 317, will host an open house on Wednesday, Nov. 2, from 5-6:30 p.m. The open house will give community members an opportunity to tour the recently renovated clinic and meet the medical providers and staff.
BVHC added three new family physicians this past summer. Amy Varble, M.D., and Tom White, M.D., formerly of Mountain Medical Center in Buena Vista, have transitioned to the HRRMC clinic. Craig Otteni, M.D., joined the HRRMC Buena Vista Health Center in August and is accepting new patients.
Three family nurse practitioners are also on staff at the clinic. John Daugherty, APRN-CNP, Jan Ommen, FNP-BC, and Linda Typer, FNP-BC, WHCNP, see patients for primary and acute-care needs.
The event is free and open to the public. It will be catered by Variations Catering.
