We believe that a woman's choice to live in our region should not limit her ability to receive state-of-the-art breast cancer detection and treatment. Because we can't prevent breast cancer, HRRMC is committed to offering the most advanced diagnostic tools to ensure early detection and a healthcare team that can provide exceptional, accessible treatment to patients in Salida and the surrounding areas.

Our Goal

Our goal is to open a Center for Breast Health that is nationally accredited by the American College of Surgeons so that women in our region can receive services locally.

There are two key elements needed to create a nationally accredited breast-care program. The first is the technology that will detect and treat breast disease. The second is a multi-disciplinary healthcare team qualified to treat breast patients, which is already in place at HRRMC.

How Can You Help?

We encourage anyone willing to make even the smallest contribution help us save lives by providing the best in breast cancer diagnosis and treatment/ Gifts of cash (including checks or payment with Visa or MasterCard), stock, real estate bequests or charitable gift annuities, are gratefully accepted by the HRRMC Foundation.

The HRRMC Foundation is an Enterprise Zone contribution project which allows a 25% Colorado state tax deduction on all cash donations (in the amount equal to or greater than $100 per donation, per quarter) from individuals and businesses when the contributor pays state tax with an itemized tax return.
