About Lisa

Hi! My name is Lisa Montoya. I am a Nurse Practitioner who moved to Buena Vista last August with my husband, Joe. I got my undergraduate education at Regis University in Denver and my graduate degree at University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus. I was a RN at Denver Health Medical Center for 8 years, then as a NP, I joined the Trauma and Acute Care Surgery Service (TACS) there for 4+ years. I am excited to be a Urology provider and plan to specialize in Advanced Prostate Cancer treatment once I have had the training. I have volunteered in Haiti, Cambodia, Ecuador and Guatemala. As you may guess, I love to travel. I also enjoy spending time outdoors with Joe and our dogs, Izzie & Mac, which was a big reason for our move. We love to kayak, raft, hike and camp.
