About Amy

Dr. Beauprez grew up in Littleton, Colorado and has dreamed of living in Salida for as long as she can remember. Enchanted by the marriage of human connection and science, she was moved to pursue a career in medicine. She attended the University of Colorado School of Medicine, where she was a proud member of the rural track. She had the good fortune to rotate at First Street Family Health, where she developed a passion for family medicine and obstetrics. Meanwhile, her affection for the community of Salida deepened. She now sees patients at HRRMC's Salida Health Center as well as Custer County Health Center.

She completed her residency in Family Medicine through North Colorado Family Medicine in Greeley, participating in a program renowned for its intensive obstetric training that produces first-class rural family doctors. Her dream of joining First Street Family Health and serving the community of Salida came true in 2021 and she could not be more grateful for the opportunity. Outside of medicine, Dr. Beauprez is an avid hiker and skier but foremost enjoys spending time with her husband, Evan, as well as family and friends.
