Cancer Walk

The HRRMC Foundation is excited to announce the 2025 Annual Cancer Walk on Saturday, May 3rd at 8 a.m.

First established in 2018, the HRRMC Cancer Walk brings community members together, through their shared experiences with cancer. The proceeds will go towards supporting HRRMC cancer patients.

On May 3rd, day-of registration will open at 8 a.m. and the walk will begin at 9 a.m., outside of the Outpatient Pavilion on HRRMC’s main campus at 1000 Rush Drive in Salida.

The funds raised by the Cancer Walk support local HRRMC cancer patients with items to support them during treatments: Wigs, lymphedema sleeves, and wellness programs. The 2024 Cancer Walk raised over $9,200 for cancer patients. Become a sponsor by clicking below:

2025 Cancer Walk Sponsorship Form

2025 Cancer Walk Bake Sale will be held Wed., April 2 in the HRRMC Café from 7:30 - 11 a.m.

Come and checkout the 2025 Cancer Walk Bake Sale hosted by the HRRMC Accounting Department. If you would like to donate baked goods, please coordinate with Karen Moore at (719) 530-8221 or karen.moore@hrrmc.net.

2025 Cancer Walk Registration

Registration is $35 per person and free for cancer survivors.

For those who cannot attend the in-person event, or wish to walk independently, they may do so anytime leading up to the community event on May 3rd. Or you can register and donate your registration to a Cancer Survivor. Cancer Survivors walk for FREE but please still register.

If you would like to participate on your own before the in-person event, you can walk on any trails you prefer. However, we're including several routes below for those looking to try a new trail. There are short and longer recommended walks to choose from.
